Andrew C. F. Chan (陳志輝), SBS, JP, is a professor in the Department of Marketing and is concurrently the Director of Executive MBA Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has published extensively and also rendered research and executive training services for many renowned local and international institutions. Prof. Chan is currently chairman of the Hong Kong Deposit Protection Board, a member of the Electoral Affairs Commission and an advisor of the Quality Tourism Services Association.
Henry Tso (曹鴻輝) is a veteran translator specialized in Cantonese lip-sync translation. During his service at TVB, he had done a record high of 167 movies and 217 episodes of TV series. Interestingly, he received his B.Sc. degree major in Physics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1977 and his M.Sc. degree major in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in the United States in 1983. In recent years, he spends most of his energy in social concern and is trying to make a difference.
Shirley Siu-ling Leung (梁少玲) is a sales and marketing professional working in media and education sectors for years. She graduated from the English Department of National Taiwan Normal University and obtained her BA degree. She then worked for various local and international companies in Hong Kong including Ming Pao, ATV, BBC Worldwide and Discovery. Feeling the strong needs of self-enhancement, she enrolled in the CU EMBA Programme and obtained her MBA degree in 2005.
Emmeline Mok (莫陳月芬) was previously Director of External Liaison of CUHK's Faculty of Business Administration.
Kwun-tung Tse（謝冠東）graduated in translation from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He edits and translates for the CUHK EMBA Programme. He has four online dictionaries and his own translation agency (http://www.kwuntung.net), which has attracted over 3 million visitors. He loves hiking and vegetarian dishes. |

The Annual Conference is one of the major events of EMBA Programme of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This book records the visions, insights and wisdom shared during the Conference. Moreover, extracts of 4 episodes of "New Thinking in Management" (a radio program jointly produced by CUHK EMBA Program and RTHK) are also included to give readers a more comprehensive perspective. These 4 episodes discussed the opportunities and challenges that Hong Kong businessmen met on the Mainland. Issues covered include cultural difference, human resources management, joint venture, CEPA, appreciation of Renminbi and revised labour law etc. One of the guest speakers, Mr. Larry Poon, has been working in China since 1993.
